Senior Speech Pathologist
Sarah is the heart behind Embolden Kids. Her passion is to support children and families to thrive, to achieve their goals and to have fun along the way!
Sarah is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with many years of experience working for public and private clinics in Australia and overseas, as well as as a clinical educator for Curtin University’s Speech Pathology program.
Sarah completed her Speech Pathology degree in 2006. She has extensive experience working with a range of children with speech, language, literacy and fluency difficulties as well as supporting children on the Autism spectrum and with various disabilities.
Sarah is Hanen certified to implement the It Takes Two to Talk Program for late talkers and Lidcombe Program for children who stutter. Sarah is a Neurodiversity affirming therapist and a SEA Bridge provider.
Speech Pathologist
Francesco graduated from Curtin University’s Master of Speech Pathology, and with a Bachelor in Human Biology.
Ebony has been trained in the Sounds Write program (helping students to read, write and spell).
Francesco believes in a holistic and client centred approach to therapy, working together with both the family and their child to ensure that they feel valued and confident that their needs are being met. He has an interest in working with school aged children to develop their early literacy skills, and supporting their speech, language and fluency difficulties.
Francesco also has experience in the public sector, working with children in schools where he provides group and individual therapy sessions, and support to educators. Francesco understands how communication difficulties can impact a child’s ability to learn and socialise. Francesco has a volunteer background in which he has worked with children of various disabilities.
Speech Pathologist
Ebony is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who graduated from Curtin University. Ebony has had experience working in the disability sector and in schools with children who have Developmental Language Disorder.
Ebony has been trained in the Sounds Write program (helping students to read, write and spell) and Talk for Writing.
Ebony has a passion for working with children and their families who face challenges with language, speech and literacy. Ebony’s approach to therapy is to ensure parents and carers feel empowered in their role to help their children, while her deep understanding of communication difficulties help children overcome obstacles and find their voice.
